So...Yet again have an artist or should I say con artist...taking 'inspiration' from one of my work..and the funniest is my casters tell me too.. :)...so be it...bring it on!!...

Nothing is more gratifying than have a person connect with your work..or maybe something else surpasses the feeling..To have a senior artist write a shero shayari (a poetry in Urdu) on one of my sculpture..the moment was so dear, his words had so much of depth in them that I felt he had read me more than I could have expressed myself..A tear dropped right there, unabashedly and I smiled a beautiful smile..Thank you Kidwai Ji

 An invite to be a part of a sculpture camp by Lalit Kala Akademi..A memory to cherish and hold so dear..a sense of achievement..a feeling that I have arrived , I am here , I am alive...Where this leads to , I have no clue ..but yes after this recognition I am sure there is some strong force working ..God is kind..

Count Down......stomach churning sensation... like always before a solo show.... :)

                                                    An honour to be invited by my alma mater as a chief guest on Independence Day to address the young women leaders of tomorrow..Such an amazing feeling..Could almost see myself sitting there as a baby with two long braids :) ...so nostalgic...

A Laurel..An honour indeed...An invitation by IGNCA ( Indira Gandhi national Center for Arts) to attend a symposium as a 'Rapporteur'..how it happened or what led to it , I can not fathom.. But feeling privilaged and enjoying it..Hope it is the begining of a long fruitful association..

A feather in the cap!! Two in fact.. One of my work got selected at a national level at Annual All India Art Exhibition -AIFACS and yet another at the Delhi International Film Festival... December here I come!!

" Tenderly Drowsy"..... Read this somewhere and felt motivated into working along it....Is it possible to be drowsy yet be so aware and alert???? Found the answer once the piece shaped up!!...Found the answer to the name for my next show!!... At the Taj Tea Lounge, New Delhi.

The nuance that are presented in a work of art, normally goes waste if the observer fails to notice it

So " OBSERVE"......Throughout history,artists have played an important part in documenting social movements,spiritual beliefs and general life. What we have read so far becomes a visual delight...

So "APPRECIATE"......The human effort that is put in to imitate,supplement and alter work of nature.The perception and presentation may vary, but the end product is to behold....

Everyone can appreciate art but the question is " Can everyone find art beautiful??"

I invite viewers to enjoy the images of my work that speaks in a quiet way....to endear, to heal, to comfort,to protect and to inspire. Allow yourself to decide its meaning. May the simplicity of the work communicate peace and serenity to you and those you love...
